WOMEN IN BUSINESS SIGNATURE EVENT...AN OVERWHELMING SUCCESS

The Women In Business Signature Event, Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul, presented by the Aiken, North Augusta and Augusta Metro Chambers of Commerce was held Tuesday, October 17 at the Radisson Riverfront Hotel in Augusta. Over 800 attendees gathered to hear the message of this year's keynote speaker, Jennifer Read Hawthorne, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul. Her motivating presentation focused on the impact a positive attitude has over one's life, and also how women define themselves based on the success of their interpersonal relationships.

Hundreds of cans of chicken soup were collected at the door and will benefit one food bank from each of the sponsoring chamber's community.

A sincere "thank you" is extended to each of our sponsors, without whose support the program would not have been possible.
