The Chamber is dedicated to serving both the needs of our members and the economic development needs of the community.

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce has over 1,100 members. By joining the chamber, you will be joining ranks with the most progressive and successful businesses in the community.

Membership is open to all businesses that have an interest in doing business in the community. We invite you to join the Chamber and assist in the development of our community. Insurance

The Chamber is helping address the issue of high insurance cost for small and medium sized businesses. Receive discounted insurance for 2 to 99 employees at a 3 -5% discount on products such as Group Health, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Long Term Care, Dental, Life. This is a low-cost benefit plan providing very basic health benefits for employees of companies providing little or no coverage.

Drugs Don't Work

This Chamber-developed, nationally recognized, drug free workplace program helps businesses maintain a healthy and productive workforce and receive a 7 1/2% discount on Workers Compensation Insurance. Drugs Don’t Work reduced rates for drug screening and Employee Assistance Programs make establishing your drug free workplace easy and cost-effective. Drugs Don't Work is a partnership program of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Department of Human Resources and the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce.

FREE with membership, the Chamber will provide a formal ribbon cutting ceremony at your business.

Membership Directory

Become a member to be included in the next Membership Directory. Thousands of copies are printed and distributed to members, businesses and are also available to incoming families.

Web Site

List your company electronically on the Chamber's web site, which receives an average of 4,500 hits per month. Every member will have their own page with the ability to insert facility photographs, maps to the location, contact information and advertisements. Members will also have the option to be listed under multiple categories.

Through our web site you can stay informed of the Chamber's priorities, events and much more.

Literature Display Case

FREE space is available on our brochure display case in the Chamber lobby. Display windows are available for a yearly fee.

Sponsorships

Sponsorships are available for many of the Chamber’s meetings and networking events.

Networking Events

Build a network by developing relationships with other Chamber members. All Chamber programs are designed to give you an opportunity to make new contacts and strengthen existing relationships. The more events you attend and the more actively you participate, the faster and deeper your network will grow.

Relocation Packages

Members pay a reduced rate of $3.00 per package. Cornerstone members receive a certain number of packages at no cost. These packages include a guide to the area, local real estate and a highly detailed Chamber Map. They are perfect for your company’s recruitment efforts.

Tax Deduction

90% of membership dues are tax deductible as a business expense. (In compliance with the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, 10% of your membership dues are not deductible as a business expense because they are allocable to lobbying expenditures. Further information on this law should be obtained from your tax advisor.)
