Development
Membership,
the funding arm of the Chamber, strives to continually
improve and expand the value of Chamber membership
by providing quality services, networking opportunities
and programming for businesses of all sizes and
stages.
Reached unprecedented membership goal of
$280,630, Presented 10 Business @ Breakfast events,
11 Women in Business luncheons, and 6 Business After
Hours in the year 2001.
Created the Membership Development Council
to increase chamber memberships. The committee created
programs and events that enticed companies, especially
small businesses, to join the Chamber.
Developed a New Member Orientation program.
Hosted the Small Business Street Fair with
over 60 small businesses participating.
Recognized the Small Business Person of the
year, Marvin Brown of Eagle North America.
Conducted quality seminars for chamber members.
Hosted the annual Women In Business Signature
Event with Connie Podesta as guest speaker with
over 700 in attendance.
Hosted Chambers first Annual Golf Tournament.
